The relaxing and healing properties of essential oils have been known since ancient Egypt. Essential oils are said to benefit mind, spirit, and body. Great for people, but absolutely wonderful for your dog! A dog's number 1 sense is
its smell. Through that highly developed sense, the dog is able to fully
take advantage of the healing and soothing properties essential
oils possess. Hyper dogs seem to suddenly calm down, dogs
that are constantly scratching themselves seem to relax*.
Lavender is known as an "all-round" essential oil. It's great for the skin and skin disorders and has been clinically proven to have a relaxing effect. The fragrance is calming, relaxing, and balancing both physically as emotionally. Furthermore, Lavender is known for its antiseptic qualities, which means that it's great as a natural flea & tick repellent*! Wow!
With a Lavender Bath, your dog will enjoy a session of soaking and massaging in a warm water tub with Lavender Essential Oil all while listening to relaxing classical music. In addition, we will apply a few drops to the dog's neck after drying. Please note that we can currently only offer this service to small and medium sized dogs.
