| We groom all breeds!! |
Prepping
As soon as we get to your residence, we start by hooking up our hose
and extension cord. After that you may bring your pooch into the van or
have us pick him up from your front door. Once inside, we start prepping
the dog, which is:
~ cleaning the ears;
~ cleaning the eyes;
~ clipping the nails;
~ brushing the dog out;
~ put artificial tears to protect the eyes from irritating
during bathing
~ and brushing their teeth
Bathing
Now your pooch is ready for his bath. We use different types of
shampoos, like: Flea & Tick Control which contains natural pyrethrins to
kill fleas on contact, Oatmeal shampoo for sensitive,itchy and/or dry skin,
Snowy-Coat shampoo which enhances the natural color of the dog's
coat, and more. All shampoos provide odor control and leave a
long-lasting scent. If desired, you may give us your own shampoo to use
(for example for medical reasons).
Anal Glands
During bathing we always check and empty the anal glands, which
oftentimes is the culprit for your pet's foul smell.
Drying
After bathing the dog, we towel him dry and bring him to the grooming
table. There we continue by using a special blower that also gives the
dog a massage while he gets dry.
Trimming, Clipping & Scissoring
Once dry, we now can trim your dog or give him a haircut as desired.
Specific breeds have specific needs. We have worked with many breeds,
including Cocker Spaniel, Terrier, Yorkshire, Maltese, and many more.
You will be impressed with the results!
Cologne & Ribbon or Bow
Finally, we apply a specially formulated cologne (like CK-9, Pucci, Timmy
Holedigger, Miss Claybone, and more) and a colorful ribbon or bow.
Kisses
We always, always, finish our grooming session with lots of kisses (for
the dog, of course)!
